If not for Bank of America's Platinum LEED near-supertall across the avenue I think they would have built an impressive skyscraper here. They opted for a Bryant Park campus with two buildings on either side of the avenue instead. Unless BoA decides to consolidate at One Bryant Park rather than expand which is why they leased this building in the first place, I don't see it being replaced any time soon.
