I feel like if they clad the core on the blow through floor with matching glass it would really soften it from certain angles.

I do think it's kind of a "happy accident".

Yes, every night from what I can recall, but it only scans across the lake at about a 110 degree section, so it only hits the water. No poor souls in any condos around there have to worry about being blasted by 100,000 lumens lmao

thanks for the update Solar, as my SO said when I showed her the last shot:

"woah! it looks like a real building now!"

just a bit of tidying up to do... likely plenty of work on ground level. i will miss one of the most active threads on this site :')

Those black panels on upper section that just stop halfway through annoy the hell at me and i cant get over why wouldnt they just cover with glass to have it look symmetrical

Don't they need air to exhaust out of those vents?

I am not sure they are vents. If they are, there isn't much in the way of space for airflow. They are recessed in a way that looks like the are the backs of frames or something

I walked by it yesterday. It really is stunning. The angles and how the light reflect off of it are really fun to look at.

I approached from the south and imo the mechanical louvers are a lot more annoying in pictures than they are in real life.

I am confused about something though... are the upper asymmetric mechanical louvers actually glass panels?
It's also strange how the louvers or panels (whatever they are) are recessed rather than in line with the rest of the glass.
Anyway, I wanted to comment on how nice it is and of course I get drawn back to this.
