Manitoba infrastructure has a new PDF document outlining further safety improvements proposed for Perimeter, set for this summer. This is a download link to a zip file that contains the PDF

Here’s a summary:
-Run a new service road on the west side of Perimeter from Oak Bluff to Wilkes.
-Close most (all?) dirt roads currently accessing Perimeter between Wilkes and Kenaston.
-Build service road from Brady rd to Waverley and then close Brady rd (already publicly announced).
-Run a service road from Aimes road to Ste Anne’s road (including railroad and seine river crossings), and subsequent closure of access to Perimeter. The only opening left of that cluster of 4 roads would be Sumka rd.
-Close Plessis access to Perimeter and extend Plessis south of Perimeter to the interchange of 59 and the floodway.
