Thanks!

Also great pics Giallo, jealous that you get to spend nearly the entire summer there...

^Yeah. I'm pretty happy I got to spend the majority of my summer between Kelowna and Vancouver.

Not construction-related, but I thought I'd share a picture of that amazing sunset last night.

Man 170 sq m floor plate, I'm surprised they were able to restrict the elevator and stairway core to 25 sq m. I wonder if there's already demand for a space like this for them to even consider building this? It's possible there could be some small firms of less than 5 people going in, but my money is on social services/support offices.

Couple of shots of a new development on Sutherland, across from the Capri Mall. Not sure what it is, I think this is the building replacing Inn from the Cold?

Thanks for the update! I am super excited about coming to Kelowna next year. It will likely be the most impressive transformation the city has had in a single year ever.

Thanks for the update.

Yeah, Kelowna will look a lot more grown up by next summer. I always love coming around the corner from the westside after a year away, and seeing the difference in the skyline.

The view that blew me away was on the way up Knox Mountain, well before any of the lookouts, looking across at the skyline and seeing the sea of construction clustering along Ellis.

That's really impressive when a city the size of Kelowna has more cranes downtown than a city the size of Edmonton does!

Mass timber buildings up to 10 stories may soon be allowed in Kelowna:

Would be nice to see some of these in the Richter/Clement/Gordon area.

There’s currently two cranes up at the Brooklyn site,
they’re super close together so I’m not sure why they’re both there!

Here are some new proposals moving ahead at city hall right now.

These include the already proposed 22-storey Aura tower & the two towers for the Prospera lot.

Aura's website is all up & running now as well.

Very exciting stuff and no slow down on development in sight.
