Interesting Facts/Records (in own words): Pieterskerk had from 1290 to 1512 a 110 metres tall tower, which was nicknamed "Coningh der Zee" (Kong of the Sea). The tower collapsed on March 5th, 1512 and was not rebuilt. The church building is still standing, but is since 1971 not used regularily as church any more.
