ok...not to sound incredibly ignorant or anything, but how tall will it be compared to the building to the left of the cranes?

One Buckhead Plaza, the building to the left, is 256 feet, so it will be 20 percent taller.

Great picture, Joe! I love the location of this. Buckhead Village is great, but it's going to be a very different place in a few years. I hope all the new developments don't take away from the character already in place.

I think most of the 'characters' left the place when the city started closing the bars at 2:30.

Hahaha, yeah.

I was referring to the old-style row buildings that many of which are likely to be torn down when they start this new Rodeo Drive type development there.

The only building that WON'T be torn down is the one where Geek Squad is (because they wouldn't sell to Ben Carter). I wish they'd keep some of the nicer facades that must be hidden under that crap we see from the street.

That's a shame... Is the new development at least of good quality? I've only seen some small renderings.

Also, the Roxy block... it will be partially preserved now that Novare isn't taking all of it, right?

Yes. It should be of considerably better quality than what's there now.

It seems like the approach is recreation of the older character (at least that's what it says on paper). I am hoping for some difference in architecture and feeling, despite the fact it is all new. Luckily, with a high-end district, tenants expect some of that because they expect individuality in their storefronts. So, hopefully the Village will comply.

I'm unfamiliar with the location/address of this building. Is it down the street from ESPN Zone and Cheesecake Factory?

It's on West Paces across from Whole Foods. Kinda where the Sears auto center was, if you can go back that far.

Coming up out of the ground now (9/1). A little hard to see because it's blending wih the parking deck behind it.

Any updates/new pictures? I'm gonna try to spend some time in Buckhead with my camera this weekend and hopefully get some new shots of this and other developments.

January 11!!! Were you holding out on us Joe?
Thanks for the update...the building is above the trees so there is finally something other than the cranes to see from a distance.

Thanks Joe, great pictures as always. This building is going to frame this area nicely. Does anyone know the plan for the one story buildings in the foreground of the picture (between peachtree an the st. regis)? I can't imagine they'll last very long.

Sorry, this may not be the right place, but i'm new here. Where would I find planning/development information (if any) for 14th street between the bridge and state street (and back to hemphill)?

Thanks again.
