Thanks, I love the everyday things that the average resident see that most tourist never venture into. I'm also in shock how many high-rise's that has been built behind the Long Island City sign. It wasn't that long ago I visit NYC, amazing the amount of development in the past few years.
Thanks for the tour. I do wish that you'd gotten a chance to walk around some of the actual streets and neighborhoods like Vernon-Jackson and Hunters Point. There are some beautiful blocks of brownstones and bustling commercial strips like Vernon Blvd. in LIC, not just new high-rises and warehouses. Maybe I'll try to do a walking tour of my own instead of running through the neighborhood like I do every weekend.
