Only Robson? Have you never been on Granville (downtown and south Granville), Denman St, Davie St, West 4th, Broadway, Main St, Commercial Drive, etc?

Yeah. Together, Pallo and his family can help Winnipeg beat Hamilton!

Heck, bring Sydney with with you. The whole lot of them! See if that will tip the scales!

The survey looked at Quebecers' views of a variety of cultural groups.

It found 36 per cent of Quebecers have a bad opinion of Jewish people, while 27 per cent have a poor opinion of blacks. Fifty per cent have a bad opinion of Muslims.

I am back on this forum again as SSC is down

I have a question. When i come to Winnipeg ...eventually.... i want to live in this high rise building

Are the apartments in that building for rent or just for sale?
If they are for rent, how much would it cost to rent? Can you please find out for me?

Probably more than we would think. I know a fellow from New Zealand who just moved here who loves this place. Although he has only lived here for 6 weeks he keeps telling me that we probably exagerate our winters.

He has no concept of -40 c. Apparently it only gets that cold in the arctic and in a select few scientific labs.

I guess he'll find out for himself.

You could find a decent apartment in a smaller building, and save up to get the condo. It'll take a while, but it'll be worth it, especially if it's on the northwest part of the building, you'd have a great view of downtown.

Wouldn't downtown be northeast of that building?

Yes, it would.

You'd think, for a left handed person who is so interested in maps, I would have a better sense of direction. I'm always mixing up east and west, left and right.

I think it is safe to say that Waterlooson won't be coming anywhere near Winnipeg for a very very long time; that is definately one step towards improving Winnipeg that I am thankful for
