Hong Kong is absolutely incredible. At a Chinese restaurant I used to frequent in Kansas City, there was (is?) an incredible night aerial shot of Hong Kong that covers an entire wall of the restaurant. I used to just sit there and stare it while I ate. It was somewhat like jetsetter's here, but taken from a high angle looking down where you could see both sides of the bay in the same shot. Completely unreal. I wish I had a copy of it.

Anyway, great thread. Hong Kong is the definition of "urban." Dubai is still just a pretender. Someday I hope to finally visit.

Sorry for the less than sophisticated comment, but Hong Kong simply kicks ass. Nice work, hkskyline. That photo posted by jetsetter might be the finest photo taken of any city by any person anywhere in history.

Wow! Hong Kong is utterly amazing. There is no equal.

Many of those towers are simply stunning.

A stunning setting doesn't hurt HK's fantastic skyline at all...very nice photos!
