They jumped the core. It's really apparent now that the base of this thing is going to be epic. Those two story openings to the elevator banks are going to look amazing. This is going to be quite the spectacle being able to look through the base of this cantilevering monster.

Hells yeah. In the ten or so years I've been following this site, I don't think I've ever seen two steel frames right next to each other. It's just a whole lotta candy.

^^^ Yeah the last time would have been when 111 S Wacker and Hyatt Center were built, and they both finished in 2005.
