477 Webb Street-new Providence College Campus

Saw this and thought that it was interesting. From 0-400-700 students is great for the area! Seems to be right in the centre of things and a renovated office building to boot!’

Looks like Booth College is maybe downsizing and consolidating at 290 Vaughan St, where the Salvation Army Officer Training program is housed. Not sure if this means they are shrinking Booth College, or eliminating the Officer Training program? But basically Providence is backfilling space vacated by Booth at 447 Webb Place , so I’m not sure this will add a net increase of students downtown?
290 Vaughan is quite a nice heritage building, and currently houses Booth’s Library, but it doesn’t have a huge amount of classroom and office space? So makes me wonder if the Salvation Army is shrinking its educational footprint in Winnipeg.

This kind of helps a bit.

Also.. The college says it is opening this new campus as an expansion of its existing downtown programming where 400 students are currently enrolled in a two-year Associate of Arts (in Business) program, with an anticipated 700 students by Fall 2024.
