I seen the lantern's skeletal pics but didn't see the type of lighting they installed but it looks like its a non led system from the lighting. Anyone have any details?

Definitely getting a phosphorus feel.

It's pretty spectacular in person. The detailings, the materials, the angles, the glass shifts, the lobby architecture...from street level. To me, that's a huge factor of why I appreciate this building.

Yeah, I've experienced it in person... and I do agree that it's a top-quality building... and from street-level it certainly is impressive. Just rather blah on the skyline... particularly for the city and state's tallest. Wanted so much more, I guess.

It's Comcastic.

Finally! It had been quite a while since they had done one. I was going through it the other day thinking "Man I'd love to look at how a lot of these empty lots have filled up in the meantime."

They're peeling the tape off on the South side, I was in the city today and saw it. They took it off on the first 5 rows of metal on the lower office portion

Thanks for a great tour of the city! Love to see your work at closer range. Much more scope for creativity and artistic arrangement. Keep it up. Especially enjoy Benjamin Franklin standing on water

Thanks for the pictures. Is the top half (hotel portion) on the north side two different colors? I've never noticed that before.

If you're talking about this

It looks different because the suns position was to the Northwest making the metal cladding shine. The cladding is not different

In addition, here is what the building will look like when done from the same position

JurassicPhilly:
There are three different types of glass used in the building.
The top 3 floors of each section and the elevator shafts are made of an ultra-clear glass (like the corners, top, and lobby of the original Comcast building). Additionally, the very top of the top sections of each have white dots fused on the glass that increase in density as it reaches the top of the panel (like the black dots on your windshield).
The bulk of the rest of the building is different, and more reflective (probably for LEED/energy considerations).
The lantern glass lower on the building seems to be a third kind, but I don't know what the difference is.

The lantern looks like frosted glass.
