Looks about right compared to Mopacs's pictures above.

The top of the "sail" will be about where the top of the crane is now.

I always wondered how Shoreline would look if it had the crown and top two floors of the Independent. They can put it back now.

It's been a little difficult to get a visual height comparison in most renderings compared to the building's surrounding 400 footers (due to the various angles). Now it's becoming more apparent. It will appear dramatically taller.

The mechanical penthouse alone should be roughly the same height as the Indeed Tower...then add the tip of the sail.

Was never a big fan of the yellow anyway

Ha! Turned out that it lined up perfectly with the back of the Northshore in the pic. I'll help put it back.

So that's what one more setback level on Northshore would have looked like.

Looks to be over 300' now. Before long the core will start to pop over Northshore...

I'm truly excited to see how this sail portion looks in real life.

Does anyone know when this will top out? I’m excited and love this building! It’s just been brutal working across the street at Proper! The overnight cement pours are the bane of my existence currently.

Are you getting any dust from the construction?

Yep! Lots of dust, especially on the balconies. The worst is the overnight noise :/

Do you work nightshift or something? If not, why would overnight noise bother you during the day?

Having once slept in a hotel directly adjacent to an active pour site, I am sure that even if OP didn't work overnight, dealing with complaints the next morning would still be a headache.

I think it depends on the building. Hopefully Northshore and Austin Proper are insulated enough from the sound that it isn't a huge deal.

I live at the Shore on Rainey, and they would announce overnight concrete pours at 70 Rainey to us. But I never noticed any noise overnight, or at least never any more than the bars below (which isn't usually too loud either).

I do help work overnights, but even so. If I work a day shift, I will still have guests upset about the noise from the night before that will voice their concerns during the day. Any complaints from overnight will have to be followed up during the day.
