I'm really ready for it to push past the other buildings and start to dominate the block.

Gotta say, these Hanover projects are low-key pushing our visual plateau up to the 500' mark. Unsung heroes of downtown infill, for sure.

You can see it in the rendering here.

I kinda wish that was facing 5th street, that way that side wouldn't be tucked in between the buildings like that. I wonder if there's another rendering that shows the other angle.

It likely is, but I would be surprised if it doesn't "tuck in" to the glass facade when not in use. Gotta clean them windows man.

That's the window washing boom, though, they can probably use it for other "light duty". It even has counter weights like a crane does and runs along a set of tracks atop the mechanical roof. It's totally retractable, and they can swivel it around the building. You can see it here in AusTxDevelopment's drone photos.

I've seen it extended out over both the north and south sides of the building the last couple of days.

Ah good, it retracts. That's a relief. I thought we might have a Hudson Yards situation on our hands.

I'm sure that both of those can fully retract as well. It's fairly common practice on taller structures these days.

Those Hudson Yards cranes really do look like cannons ready shoot down enemy planes.

The symmetry of those bug me a bit, but I have to admit, that platform is pretty sweet.

The Weeknd used the taller one for this video of his.
