When I moved here five years ago, only about 1/3 of those buildings were there.

When I was born here, it was just those houses, and I'm still a high schooler.

I found this weird old outdated section of Google street view that really makes you realize how much things have changed in that area https://goo.gl/maps/Ndfbjuibu4A3dm4p9

I think all of the buildings in that photo were built since 2000, with the notable exception of the two 19th century ones.

It's like you're time traveling when you move away from that area

That stretch of road is no longer travelable by car, it's part of the courthouse's plaza. It's still marked as a road by Google Maps, though, and therefore it allows street view to be visible.

Still hard to believe this is being built. What a time to live in Austin.

This project has had more renderings than I care to keep track of. I don't recall seeing these two:

Saw the camera panned out and figured I'd grab a screenshot.

A bit off topic, but I wonder who owns those historic houses there. I think they're all great, but they'd be even better if there was some sort of courtyard, etc., in between them. It could give off a very European vibe, rather than just being parking lots for the random law firms that lease them.

The sun reflection on Indeed tower is amazing there. Is jtype one of our posters on here also?

And a courtyard would be great. Not sure how they would coordinate parking if they were to lose those lots since they wouldn't want to spend the money on an underground lot with a courtyard on top...but it would be a neat feel - I agree.
