Great photos as always, Innov8. I'm not a huge fan of this tower, it just seems very conservative. Then again it is on Capitol Mall.

Curious, I've heard a variety of heights on this tower, 400', 412', 429', 432'. All of those heights would still make it the tallest in the city. Has anyone actually seen drawings?

Thanks plinko. I think it's a great tower for Sacramento. Very bold and
contemporary for a street that's mostly dated back to 50's commie block
style buildings (EDD).

The newspaper says it's 423ft but the city and Emporis lists it at 429ft. HOK doe's not list anything about the tower

Below are photos I took while the tower was under construction... I beleive
I took these in 1991. I think this first shot is taken from the same spot you
took yours above.

Don't you think it looks a little like a 420+ foot tombstone?

Cool pics, innov8!

I like this building a lot. Best lobby in Sacramento. The rounded copper top is unique as well for Sacramento. If only it were 600 ft tall; it would be perfect.

Ive always loved this building, I think the symetry and radiused top. And yes it would make a great taller tower as well.

Great pictures.

I've always thought that it's a very unique and elegant tower to be our tallest and represent our city. I'm proud to have it.
