San Antonio forum meet? June 19th & 20th

Hey guys, I'm going to be in town on June 19th and 20th. Boquillas had mentioned meeting up when I was in town again. If anyone would like to meet up on either of those days, chime in. That's on a weekend of course. I'd pretty much be stuck downtown since I wouldn't have a car available to me, but I would definitely be up for a meet up.

Anyway, we could pick a time and location downtown to meet up, and then maybe walk around a bit. What I would really be up for is going up in a few of the hotels for some skyline views.

Any other weekend or day I would be available. I'm flying out to DC for Father's (in-law) Day.

Kevin, I believe we're having friends in from Montana on both of those days. I rely on my girlfriend Linda to remember these things, so I didn't remember when you first mentioned it. It might be possible to meet you downtown for a couple of hours-- we'll see.

That's cool. No pressure. I totally forgot about it being on Father's Day.

Ah. If it is June 19/20, I could probably attend. If it doesn't happen, oh well. But I'll be in the area and bored at a family reunion.

It turns out I'm now free Saturday until about 2 (I have to work at 2:45). Anybody still want to meet up?

I'm up for it. If anyone else wants to come, you're welcome of course.

Had fun hanging out with you, Boquillas. Thanks for showing me around.

Tomorrow I'm bringing my bike, so I'll be able to ride around downtown for more photos.

I took your suggestion, Paul, and rode my bike up to River North for some pics. The Riverwalk is beautiful up there. I love all the plants. Everything was blooming. There was this one spot where there was a wall covered with honeysuckle. It smelled so good! I'll start working on editing the pics and post them. I rode 11 miles around downtown. I also have a ton of pics from last year that I still haven't posted.

Here's what we were in town for. My mom breeds and shows poodles. The show in San Antonio is one of the biggest in Texas. 1,400 dogs were entered this year.
