Nothing much more so far as what was posted above is really the first public announcement of the project.

On the Check 6 tv article it said that Charlayne Thornton-Joe was basically uncomfortable with the height of 25 stories. I am going to send her an email along with Lisa Helps stating that I fully support the height and density of the project. Charlayne is the Liason for Harris Green.

Waiting with bated breath to see what Charlayne and Lisa will have to say to "being uncomfortable" with the 25 stories height of the project!

I think Lisa would be okay with the height. She has responded to me before in favour of tall buildings. Charlayne has not. I will send them an email tonight and see what they say. 😀

But to answer your question I just work there. But know some people can ask and see if they know anything!

here's a rendering showing three towers that are proposed near to Esquimalt Ave and Admirals Rd. Shoaling Heights, Legion Tower and Corvette Landing. I've also seen plans for a six story building for the north side of Shoaling Heights.

I’m interested to hear your feedback. Thanks for checking into it.

Skylinegazer - that’s a big development for Esquimalt. I wonder how Esquimalt council and mayor will react to this proposal. I hope it goes through.

Great fly by rendering via your link skylinegazer! We'll have to wait and see how this project goes in Esquimalt!

Np, usually run into someone from Uptown business end at least once or twice a week! See if I can get any juicy deets on residential building!

Thanks for posting this. View looks awesome here, but what wows me most are the heritage buildings, including those awesome churches of a bygone era. 60s to 80s warehouse-like additions or structures are the worst, and these should all be torn down with immediate effect.

Love seeing this pic as you can still see the Pink Paint of what used to be Floyd's if I'm not mistaken in the background left!

Regarding Uptown High Rise, my source has told me that there are plans on the table to break ground in 2021! As far as he know's there will be a six story high rise and below will be shops, on of which he hopes to have a store open! That's all I got as far as on Uptown High Rise Construction! Hope this helps y'all!
