Love the context of the last shot.
It's really amazing also how much of the footprint the core takes up.

So it's that hollow on the inside? Should've expected that, but it's still a surprise.

So it's a tube-within-a-tube structure.
I wonder if 2IFC is similar.

The inner core is just so massive, from this photo it seems to leave really really little rentable office space per floor.

Saw MI3 yesterday and the building is in there and lit up very nicely. Unfortunately, you will miss it if you don't look very close.

Thanks for the update, giallo. Looks great
Are they starting facade works yet? You can see panels of glass attached in some photos already.

Will the diagonal bracing zig-zag all the way up the building?
Nice to see glass.

^^ I know that is the old model, but the height is so seriously taller than Jin Mao. Wow, if that is the case.

The structure is much too nice to be hidden behind reflective glass.
It's a shame, really.

The glass is REALLY reflective. It is a beautiful structure, but I'm digging the mirror images the SWFC is already projecting from other buildings around the area. Hopefully, the weather will be decent tomorrow so I can take some pictures.

Well, you'll see it at night.
By the way, giallo, nice pics, but that Aurora building ruines the skyline. It's terrible. Everything else is great.

^You don't like Aurora? It's one of my favourite Pudong buildings. The way they use the facade as a giant video screen at night is cool too.

I have to secong The Chemist here, Aurora is a real beauty which brings in some colour into the skyline of Pudong.

Thanks for the pics giallo!
Are they are already cladding the lower floors with glass, or is that just sort of 'test' they're conducting?
