always seemed to be coy on the next and final phase... also with the developers being in the final three for the convention center, I doubt we will see anything announced before a developer is chosen I think. Deadline was april 2020 to pick a winner but im sure with some of the issues going on right now that has been extended to may but possibly longer

That place on Poland Ave looks interesting. I found a site that said it at one time housed NOPD horses?

It will be interesting to see it turned into a residence and what it will look like.

Hard Rock Demo

I've been thinking the past few days, with the COVID-19 pandemic happening and everything being shutdown, I totally understand the city has a lot of other stuff to worry about, but it kind of seems like the perfect time to blow up the Hard Rock since disruptions would be minimal and everyones already inside, traffic isn't an issue. Curious on yalls thoughts?

Agreed. Best time to do it is now. Also time to bring peace to those families waiting to bury their loved ones.

As far as timeframe to do it, April isnt off limits anymore since JAzzfest, omens Final Four and French Quarter Fest are all postponed\/ canceled. So I doubt we will see a March demolition , April seems feasible however, stay at home orders will complicate it a bit because there are residents in the area that would need to be evacuated during the demo. Certainly is a mess! That building has been cursed for sure!
