Wondering where these updates came from. The June topping out date was mentioned by the Clark Construction rep within the past couple of weeks.

Also, you said glass may be installed by June but then agreed it would be installed starting early next year. Not trying to sound argumentative but I'd like to clarify what you're saying.

I think I'll go with the guy ultimately responsible for getting the tower built.

As for the glass, it will begin when the garage is finished, and the tower itself starts rising. Since one or two floors will be erected before the glass, so that the glass follows the floors up, it could be earlier next year than June, but by how much I don't know.

Again, Randy Smith is saying the building will look finished from the outside by around Christmas 2018. He should know.

Stop moving the goal posts. I said start there. You can look up on your own the "official" HDRC docs.

You can listen to Randy Smith talking about it here:

I went back and listened again, and you are indeed correct about the glass. Should start seeing glass installed in January. Christmas 2018 it should look finished from the outside.

Guys, they are doing the first cement pour with that new construction device. I was walking nearby and saw them in action. I work downtown.

I would honestly post pictures, but I am barely getting the hang of this forum.

Have a great day, guys.

Lack of photos is because my source has been very busy, y'all.
But the fifth floor was poured today, i can see it via the cam.

It's the fourth floor actually, and I wonder if they are going to have to take down that cement equipment every time they put a new floor.

And the pics you provide are great, and are so worth the wait.

It's actually the fourth floor of the tower which is even with the 6th floor (roof?) of the garage.

I suspect that the cement pouring apparatus will rise with each floor. I got a good look at it on the webcam when they installed it and it extends much deeper than what is visible above the top floor. So I think it rises in a similar way as an internal climbing crane, with the base rising along with each successive pour.

I am wondering, does anyone think they're going to clad the pillars with any type of tile or are the pillars going to be as is?

I had jury duty all last week and was able to snap a picture from the courthouse. This was taken on the 8th.

Gives us another view of the construction and how much progress has been made.

Also shown:

The SX Callahan building has been demolished. What's happening there? Ah, I see:
"Weston Urban also consolidates another entire square block farther north along the future San Pedro Creek by adding to its 2013 purchase of the S.X. Callahan Building at 425 N. Flores St., a onetime auto service center, by acquiring both City and Frost Bank parking lots in a block bounded by Cameron Street to the west, West Martin Street to the north, and North Flores Street to the east. Smith said Weston Urban would eventually develop the site as a multi-family apartment project."

The Sunshine Cleaners building is being demolished (save for the facade).

The creek is coming along nicely.

Wait...so that area is going to be empty? Looks odd.
