Looks like they've started applying the facade to the first level of the hotel portion, all they have to do now is color it.

Think this is gonna be a great view when finished, 3344 on the left and Mansion in the background. This is probably not a safe driving technique.

p.s. That was out of the sunroof of my suv.

14th floor now?

Judging by how fast 3344 and others put up there glass how long before we see some here, 20 floors?

What is the work that is going on with the sidewalks to the left. Is that for sewage repairs or sidewalk improvement?

ATLmangum, I believe they are pouring new sidewalks, and I think they are doing that entire block across the street from 3344.

Peachtree Street becomes Peachtree Boulevard after merging with West Peachtree Street at Pershing Point, and stays that way all the way through Buckhead.

^ It becomes Peachtree Road at that point--not Boulevard.

Actually, Peachtree Street becomes Peachtree Road. I used to live at 1660 Peachtree, which is past Pershing Point and just south of the Amtrak station. My address was 1660 Peachtree Street. I believe the designation changes to Peachtree Road somewhere in Brookwood.

As for where Peachtree Boulevard will actually begin when the re-naming becomes official, I'm not sure.

That's correct...it's Peachtree Road in the Buckhead area, then further north, towards Chamblee and beyond, it's Peachtree Industrial Boulevard. For it to become Peachtree Boulevard in the Buckhead area would require a name change.

Quick-hitter photo from last weekend. Moving slowly compared to 3344 and not quite as glitzy, but will be an interesting addition to the neighborhood. One thing to note about the sidewalk construction is that they are getting rid of the wires and stoplights. One of the prior shots shows the new traffic light fixtures. Looks much better.
