This could be the answer we need.

The system is lightweight, needs only 10' wide x 8' high above 7'. Which is as very small ROW compared to any transit system. It takes autonomous vehicles into a reality that would actually help fight congestion, rather than add to it.

And, it would cost much less than any other transit system.

It will take many types of transit to help us get over our car addiction.

I know, I sold all of my cars-- it is not easy, but well worth it.
I am just living in reality (and happen to be an expert in this arena). Believe me, the future is exciting and will change our lives in more ways that most of us can even fathom. However, these "pods" have been proposed in various forms for decades and ain't gonna happen.

Giant lettering currently being installed at top of Peachtree Street side of 1180 Peachtree building. So far it spells KING of King and Spaulding.

Is it at the top of the building? I'm a few miles away, so difficult to discern if the blob towards the top is "KING"

IMO, I'd prefer we left labels off the top of our buildings. I prefer the clean aesthetic, however understanding there is a revenue/marketing perspective to it all. I'd just rather not see brands at the top of our buildings especially w/skyline photos. I prefer the aesthetics of the tower speaks for itself.

Sorry. Posted in wrong forum. Fixed it.

However, as long as my mis-post is here, let me say I love Atlanta. I've been a fan of the Braves from the beginning and my first road trip ever was in a Ford Pinto to watch Hank Aaron and Willie Mays play in Fulton County Stadium. I've been to many, many games in FCS and Turner and once (is enough) in Cobb County. I went to watch the cycling road race in the Olympics.

My daughter went to college in Atlanta, so I made many trips to visit and as an Engineer, I attended several workshops sponsored by Georgia Tech. One of my engineering friends helped design the rail system and she told me how the bare granite walls in the downtown station came to be.

I keep up with all the development here and whenever I am in Atlanta, I make it a point to drive down Peachtree Street, which I consider to be one of the great streets in America, and I've driven down almost all of them.

So keep growing, I love it.

The GOCU sign looks more like it belongs at the top of this page as an advertisement than at the top of a building.

Neither - Judging from GOCU Annual Report, its appears to be a guy named David Preter, President & COO

Whomever designed that white text within yellow circle against blue background may want to re-think their design career

It sucks that we lost the iconic "EQUITABLE", but I'm looking forward to the more creative applications of this sign. I wish it wrapped completely around the top of the building.

I wish they could have made the new screen 'flatter'. but it's well done and hopefully will look great with different colors schemes and looks from time to time

Right now it's hideous, hopefully, they change the signage since it's digital.

My god who engineers and approves these things? I spend a good amount of time in a number of cities in mainland China, and they have the full-building-led-tv thing down to a science.

This looks like a group project from a college class.
