I personally kind of like it. It's as much Star Wars as it is Flinstones.
Yeah I like it also, unlike the house I just posted it’s kind of cool and has redeeming features.

Interestingly enough, I look at those pictures and I look at the pictures you posted from San Diego, and I actually do notice a difference. Charlotte Boring is defined by its charmless, forgettable, and contemporary nature which your San Diego pictures exemplified. However, I notice in comparing Charlotte Boring in Charlotte to Charlotte Boring elsewhere that in order for a building to truly be considered real, bonafide Charlotte Boring, there has to be an attempt made to surgically extract any whimsy that flashy colors might have bestowed on the building. At least in San Diego there's a little color, bile green as it is. In Charlotte, true Charlotte Boring, there is only beige.

I wonder if perhaps we could work this into a tourism slogan. Many cities are known for their architecture and play it up as an attraction. Charlotte?

"Charlotte: Come for the beige EIFS, stay for the blue glass..."

Yes Charlotte boring must have no colour or wimsy. Only beige EIFS. Toronto has the opposite problem, Toronto Boring means blue glass monolithic condos like Shittyplace (Concord Cityplace) and Vile Condos (Vibe Condos). The latter pictured here.

There’s also Waterpark City

I thought they demolished Eau Claire? Regina has a couple, but I won't subject anyone to that. Victoria Square and Northgate Mall would be the frontrunneres though.

Oh, you've got room for one more non-mall building...

Presenting the Markel Building!

This beauty popped up on my Facebook feed because I follow the Atlas Obscura on there. And, according to Atlas Obscura this building was inspired by the baked potato that architect Haig Jamgochian was served at the American Institute of Architects dinner in 1962.

They've been saying Eau Claire would be demolished and redeveloped for over a decade now. It's still there. Raping our eyes.

Since we haven't seen anything hardcore ugly in a while I present to you this hotel in Bulgaria.

And here I thought The Prado looked bad, this makes The Prado look like the Empire State Building!

The lobby is going for a Tomb Raider kind of look

I'm posting this with a confession: I actually love this, but I know others might not.

if it hasn't already been in a horror movie, it needs to be.

this is the Mohonk Mountain House in New York:

Taking the handles off would be a good start at least.
The building is actually quite reserved and actually pretty nice inside. Classic American colonial style.

Yes, the thing that makes the Chrysler Building so amazing is it’s ornamentation and detail. Here they have stripped it of all good detail.
