This house at River and Nassau has been boarded up – anyone know if something is planned for here? I'd take a third sibling to Conrad & Dexter House. But maybe add a small CRU or two

unfortunately the high quality finishes set by Conrad and Dexter will not be upheld by this new development at 530 Nassau.

It's not promising when even the rendering is ugly. That looks like a throwback to 12 years ago.

Thanks for sharing, sorry if I missed it earlier. It's really time for the city to implement minimum design rules in signature areas. This looks brutal.

New Osborne Village BIZ banners are up on the light poles in the village. Good to see they weren't desinged in MS Paint like the Corydon BIZ ones.

I saw that today. While they’re better than Corydon, they’re still atrocious. What the hell is the village’s brand anymore? They’re like blue and orange and have a different logo than the RED bike racks installed over the last couple years. And last year they replaced the black globe sidewalk lights with.. the same thing... Then we have those flashing multicolour light boxes.

God the Osborne Biz is a disaster.

I hate to say it but O Village has lost its way and direction. It no longer knows what it wants to be when it grows up.There is little cohesiveness...It desperately needs some direction so it can thrive and prosper again.Even the Exchange is losing steam and Corydon is a bit better but also needs some excitement.

Was just reading over this thread and was about to say same thing lol. Parts of it are better (at least theirs some of the pseudo-masonry accents on this one and a few angles) but some of the sides from the rendering look awful.

Surprised that the construction industry hasn't been cancelled too tbh.

530 River is moving FAST! Whole site is excavated and foundation prep already begun.

I'm confused by the last render of it on this page though. What side is that? It shows cars parked there but a sidewalk and boulevard behind them and no access to the stalls.

Looks like the back lane by the looks of it. Just rendered weird for some reason. Looking at the first one from the river angle you can see the sort of half fence where the cars park in the back alley corresponding to the last picture.

I live on Wardlaw, and the Osborne Village Inn/Zoo/Vendor is coming down fast. Beer vendor was demoed on Thursday/Friday, and the Zoo is being ripped down as we speak...
