That's pretty tall right now with still 9 floors to go. This is going to be be a big time iconic building.

The cranes are really sticking up on the skyline. I guess they did a crane jump recently.

This is going to be a dominant tower. I'm really looking forward to seeing this poke up from new angles these next few weeks. I think it'll really start to be visible pretty soon.

The bottom and lobby look high quality. Love the juxtaposition next to the older federal building also.

Wow, I just drove East down Lake Austin Blvd. This one will really transform that skyline view. Can wait to see it.

I took a drive downtown yesterday just to see the sites, and can confirm. This thing kinda dominates. Not so much that it's tall -- though it is -- but that it's a giant glassy slab, now viewable from mostly all angles.

Thumbs up on this 'un.

Just drove back into town on Mopac today - this tower looks (pardon my french) fucking gigantic from the bridge over the river. When this is topped out it'll be one of the most imposing towers in the city.

Four (I believe). Chase Bank Tower used to be the gold building, which was the tallest for a brief time when it was built in the 1970s.

Correct. It's a shame that both: (1) they replaced the glass with blue; and (2) Gold buildings are almost certainly going to fall out of style based on who is presently in office and his penchant for gold buildings....

I really like the old look of that building -- it, along with the Bank of America building on 6th are the two good examples of International-Style architecture.
