I suspect we'll have to wait until it's almost finished and check out the photos by corvairkeith or Urbannizer.

The site may be cleared this week. Early Demo focused on the Red River side of the block. But they are now taking out what's left on the Sabine side.

The site plan was split in two so the demo and site prep could start while the tower was finishing up with city approval. But I noticed this in the City's first response to the tower site plan which was posted this past week - a possible CVC violation in the design:

They might be planning on starting the parking and office portion before the residential portion based on this new permit. Perhaps that potential CVC violation became a real problem?

Beat me to it! I just came here to post. Not sure about the dark blue cladding...I guess it is different...

Excellent find!

Gotta say I'm totally 100% for a midnight blue building somewhere in our skyline.

This rocks. More non-glass color is always great.

Wow the cladding changes everything about this one. Way better than expected. It will be a nice pop of color to contrast with the brick and glass surroundings, and the industrial elements are a nice touch. I am reminded of One Willoughby Square, currently under construction in DT Brooklyn: https://newyorkyimby.com/2021/05/one...-brooklyn.html

I like the darker colors, and the name is now The Waller. The site plan for the tower has not been approved and is currently inactive after the City pointed out a possible CVC violation.

Wow! Fun design, lots of angles (Thx CVCs..?). A new color for DT, maybe the same color of my room in HS. I'll take it! Good height here, gotta wonder if they will wish they had gone taller upon completion?
