Minneapolis moves to ban new drive-throughs

Vancouver banned new drive-thrus a number of years ago. Some older ones that could have been redeveloped have not been redeveloped cause the drive-thru is not worth giving up for some. A few places like former KFC, Burger King etc closed and Starbucks took them over so they could have drive-thrus since they couldn't construct new ones.

The city also has a ban on idling cars, you cannot let your car run while just sitting somewhere.
