Those mini cranes are actually the window washing lifts. I'm surprised they used those instead of the 2nd tower crane, but I guess buildings do use them from time to time whenever they're installing signs.

JackinBeantown, I wish I could, but I don't have the right camera to update the photos of the changing skyline.
But, I'm telling you, it is looking very different. Can't wait for all the buildings to be finished, including the ones by the Pearl area!!!

my guess is when they take down the service elevators from outside the tower and complete installing the remainder of the glass. Who knows when that would be, but they're also known for randomly testing the lights and leaving them on overnight. Have to check the webcam in the nighttime...

I thought you were joking lol

Thank you for this! This is awesome! The lobby can often take just as long as the building itself. I've seen other buildings take a lot time due to the details, much of what I have seen as been from Dubai; so that says something as to the length of time it can take to complete a lobby.

Is it my imagination, or did this building go up rather quickly???
What is the average timeline for a building of this size to go up?
Anyone???

I'd say it's been pretty average speed.

I was downtown yesterday and took this photo to give a POV of how the tower looks from the riverwalk.

I also got up close and personal with the tower. T.C. Frost looks proud.

I guess I'll put this here. Photo taken from inside the S. Flores HEB. That massive apartment block is going to have some real impact on the area when people are living in it.

Any retail in that massive apartment block? If so, it will have a real impact on all those people.
