Hmmm - thanks for posting that image. What a building. It is humbling.
Shanghai tower is absolutely marvelous. Had a chance to go up to its observatory this past January, views from up there are as amazing as the tower itself, you don't get to look down on structures like Shanghai World Financial Center that often. Great memories.

Something I just stumbled upon that might be useful as I originally posted a picture just above that was massive - use the following codes to resize imgur images, insert the associated letter from below at the end of the imgur image name just before the '.jpg' part and voila, a nicely resized image link to post. I used the 'l' for a large thumbnail...

Here are all the dimensions and letters to choose from:

s = Small Square (90×90)
b = Big Square (160×160)
t = Small Thumbnail (160×160)
m = Medium Thumbnail (320×320)
l = Large Thumbnail (640×640)
h = Huge Thumbnail (1024×1024)

Size versions of the above image in order - original image is here (2419x3226)...

I think the whole twisted tower thing is getting to be too much. I like Telus Sky, because it's half traditional and half twisted, but the twisted building fad is over for me.

Speaking of which, why aren't you on your forum? Your only function here is to get pics and updates and repost them at SRC.

So I live in the Northwest (Crowfoot area,) and I've been looking at the skyline every singe day, awaiting the date I can see this building, or its cranes, poke out.
Needless to say with my excitement of this project, I've been getting impatient.
Just a quick question though, am I not seeing it because its hidden behind some other buildings from my perspective (Like Brookfield or the Bow?) , or is it just not quite tall enough to peek out yet?

In the first image, you can see the white line, I assumed the NE corner of Crowfoot. In the second image, at a height of 221m you can see it won't be blocked from that viewing location, but it may be awhile until you can see it. Look for it just to the south of Suncor.
