At 3 floors shorter than the taller One Water Street tower, I wonder how tall this new tower will be. Awesome to see a 13 story office tower downtown too!

The article also says that construction should begin in March for Brooklyn. That’s awesome.
Depending on the height of the podium levels, it should be between 100 and 110 meters. The office tower should come in between 50 and 60 meters dependent on roof elements and lobby height. Along with Brooklyn around 80 meters, this will be quite an impressive node of tower density in the Kelowna skyline. Congratulations

So do these now take the total of active tower projects (proposed and u/c) in Kelowna to 8 now?

If so what a transformation to see in the coming few years.

Still really hoping to see the 138 meter hotel project see the light of day.

Is this for the old Woolworth site ? If so that would be fantastic.

Very neat to see all these proposals in Kelowna, the city is really growing up rapidly.

I think that I am most excited for the 13 story office tower. It would be great to see a few more 10+ story office towers in the downtown core to supplement the condo boom.

It looks like some site prep may be under way for the proposed Landmark 7 office building. Excavator on site moving some dirt. Not 100% sure, but I think I saw some survey stakes.

Updated diagrams

While I don't have the skills, it would be nice to see all of the new and proposed developments in the diagrams section

Agreed, I'd love to have a go but lack the skills.

I remember reading that they planned to start work on the tower in the spring, so that makes sense.

I ran into somebody that works for Al Stober Construction and he said that they were starting construction in March.

Any chance anyone here can compile a list of all the current projects u/c and proposed? (Name, height (floors and metres if available), location and status)?

This could help in updating the Kelowna diagram / section.

I'll have a go later if there are no other takers.

That is awesome, thanks!

Are those prospera towers the ones proposed for the stadium parking lot?

Still really really hoping for the Westcorp tower to go through. Love the design, location, and it would be the perfect pinnacle.

PS, I reposted your list on the Canada section, hope that is okay!

Great list! We definitely have a lot to look forward to, even just in the already-U/C towers. Kelowna is coming into its own as a little urban metropolis

What is the current status of the Capri Centre proposal? I thought Council approved Phase One. Will it be under construction soon? What was the outcome for the remainder of the site?

It’s a long ways away. The mall is still very active. I wouldn’t expect anything major to happen there for another decade.

No problem, it was quite interesting going through the applications I had forgotten about some of them. Thanks for reposting, maybe we will get some traction with the diagrams!

Yes the Prospera towers are in front of the stadium, I don't know if they have an official name yet. They are decent looking towers too, I hope its a serious proposal.

48.4 m for the office, 100.9 m for the residential tower.

Overlap not bad looking, except for the stupid clock.

That should be replaced with some signage, lighting effect, or video screen.
