Some demo work going on across from the Metropolitan.
I am not sure who owns this. Could this possibly be owned by Cidex?

Sweet update of 707 5th DesignMind! I didn’t know Petro China was a tenant. Is there a garden in the lobby like the renderings showed?

This must be the first new office building to go up in the Beltline in quite some time. Looks alright. I like the smaller scale.

Spent Time in Calgary on Saturday, Not enough to do a photo walk but did get a good look around. Telus is looking interesting. I don't think the black finish is as good as what a white finish would look like.
The new library is looking great. And I have to say the Music Centre is by far my favorite project in the country. Much more impressive when you are standing in front of it.

Thank you. Yes there is a garden which is on the West end of the tower. Sorry I did not take pictures of it. I was dazzled by the lights.

Did you get a chance to see the Riverwalk or St. Patrick’s island? What about the Peace Bridge?

Good to know. The lights are dazzling. Especially the crown.

Good to hear Airboy, thanks for posting.
I love how the Music Centre turned out also but I hope it can draw enough visits to be sustainable.

Yes, Cidex. This is the project slated for that location.

Would be nice if it was a lot taller and didn't look so similar to other condo towers in the Beltline. Is this project going ahead for sure?

^Height is nothing to sneeze at ... and I don't think it's a bad design.
I would never mind more height of course.
