Update: Park Place now under construction. (Pictures)

The Park Place at Stone Oak is under construction. These pictures provided by a member of another forum. He also spoke to the developer, Ted Ballard, who was onsite.

Park Place will include a nearly 500 room Sheraton hotel, two-three story aquarium, 3,000 seat indoor venue for sports and theater, 40 lane underground bowling alley, 100,000 sq. ft. of retail, and more.

You can see Stone Oak Village under construction in the background, top rightish.

With the PGA Tour Resort just down the road from Park Place, there will be some 1,500 hotel rooms within a mile of Stone Oak and 281.

Also, ground breaking and construction was slated to begin this summer. Looks like things are going better than expected.

Are there any renderings floating around on the Park Place development? This sounds very intriguing. Man the far northside is booming.
