Bea-VUE-tiful. I love it. Congrats, Orlando. This will be an impressive addition to your skyline, in an impressive city.

And MJ - you're always somewhere at a convenient time to take a picture. You simply amaze me. lol. God knows that this thread would pop up at the same time you took a picture.

Having you around rules.

Great news. This is one of my favorite projects going up in downtown Orlando.

My travel schedule is a bit ridiculous, and I take photos of EVERYTHING.

Congratulations to Orlando on some nice new development downtown.

Doesn't seem like much has changed. Have they been working at the site?

Not much new to see. There is a new contraption at the corner of Robinson & Rosalind that kind of looks like a crane base but I don't think that's what it is. It is mechanical and made a hell of a bang with smoke coming out the top while I was walking by.

Official update on the VUE site:
Vue Site

The Tower Foundation
August 29th, 2005
The tower foundation is proceeding at full speed and you’ll soon see massive cranes and other lifting equipment on site to begin tower construction. The parking garage foundation will be completed next.

Looks like there is finally some progress on this project. I really like what they did with the top of the parking garage. Excellent building.

Great shots! The Vue is really going to close in that corner nicely. It shouldn't be too long now before the upper floors get going at an accelerated pace.
