It seems that in Shanghai they build the entire structural system before starting on the facade. Thanks for the pics! Can't wait to see some facade.

Too bad the SHKP project is going to break this "walled effect" on the other side of Century Avenue. Circling Lujiazui's three supertalls this way would have been great.

Setback floors construction, the building is neraly topped out. I can't wait for the cladding to begin, will it be retro or will it create a sort of distance that save the building a bit ? Same thing with the roof colour, I hope it won't be red as in the rendering (next to AZIA Center green glass... )

They are starting to clad the building. It will be a brownish, *gulp* pinkish marble. The marble looks really nice in person actually. Quite shiny.

Hmmm. The rendering makes it look like a bright white marble.

So, they stick to this ugly crown. I hoped that they had realized it was not such a goog idea.
