I'll love it when these buildings around the off-ramp are done. I've always loved the feeling of driving through the skyscrapers when coming into the city.

Then like me, you must REALLY miss the Embarcadero Freeway! So much fun to drive on, and the best views were from the upper deck approaching the Bay Bridge.

No—I don’t miss the Berlin Wall of San Francisco at all!

Yes, the views were great while on it, as were the ones from the Central Freeway in Hayes Valley, but their absences have greatly improved their locations and the City.

Love that movie. I still recognize some of those buildings, but wow, SoMa sure is largely unrecognizable from that clip. In fact, I'm pretty sure the car is driving through where this very building now is.

There's no reason to say that. Each new photo shows progress. At the very least--from this one angle--a number of column forms for the podium third floor seem to have been added since last week. When they are still building the podium things are going to go slower than when it's just the tower and they can get into a repetitive rhythm.

Looks like cladding is being installed in pics 2 + 3 near the corner of Folsom and 1st? I'll need to go back and look at the most recent renderings to verify, but it looks like they're going with ochre and brown(ish) for the podium.

Why is this construction moving so much slower than 400 Folsom?
