Correct. People forget that, while certainly not conventionally attractive, this building is a wall of windows on 3 sides. It is just obscured by newer office towers, and poorly oriented to the modern streetscape.

Personally a fan of this building (on three sides(above street level)).

Speaking of concrete walls facing a main thoroughfare, I never understood the design of the (now) Sonesta. The big "mural" on the Market St. wall helped alleviate the oppressive ugliness of that most uninviting hotel.

She seems to like the color?

I just hope she can do way better than Kenney who checked out of the job a long time ago.

Hey this is kinda neat, Liberty 1 is currently lit up with changing colors. Like they’re noticeably shifting and changing along the color spectrum. Looks great. I don’t personally recall ever seeing this before.

The lighting renovation was done in 2021, and there's an app for selected people who can light up the skyline. When they set a color for the night, the people cannot change the lights. But whenever the crown is white, it can be changed. Once a night for 5 minutes. I can change it too!

Dunno the significance of the color for her but her campaign signs were Orange and Brown (or Black) from what I can remember.

According to her campaign "Orange is Cherelle’s color". There's no real rationale beyond that.

Blue Cross Tower last night, lit up green! But what are these white strobe lights going down the tower in a pattern? Testing emergency lighting?
