I've discovered a most mind-blowing aerial of the lower end of the Tappan Zee, looking south along the Hudson Valley. Photo is by Pierre Beautrais



Check out the Pallisades Parkway! One of the most beautiful highways in the country.

That last set is incredible. I love the city before the cold, indifferent hand of modernism takes hold. Pre-modernist glass box downtown was the most elegant skyline anywhere, anytime.
