I wonder if Ithaca would look like this if it were as large...?

Beautiful city. Thanks for sharing these photos with us.

Life Magazine called Madison America's best city back in 1950. It's still great. Stunning pictures!

I love Madison. A good friend of mine goes to school there. I had a great time walking down State Street and other areas of the isthmus. Too bad the Mifflin Street Co-op is closed. Oh, and I also live on an isthmus here. Thanks!

Great pictures! Beautiful. Madison is a very progressive city. It embraces diversity. Unlike some racist on here it would be accepting of all...but racist like the ones that post here wouldn't be accepted in Madison. Too bad we cannot say that about Chicago and our racist of all colors.

^I'm pretty sure Coldayman was joking. Madison is quite a bit more diverse than it was when I moved there six years ago, but it is still a far cry from Chicago in the diversity department. Anyhow, these pics are great! I can't wait until summer...definitely a great time to be in Madison btw.

^^
Racism isn't something to laugh about as he did. Chicago as a whole is diverse, but it has lots of racist who are black and white. Our most extreme racist areas are our black neighborhoods. It is sad. But it is hard to ask people to stop being victims and start helping us make this world truly equal.

Sorry...didn't want to hijack this wonderful thread. The photos...of buildings...and nature...and then racist comments...was sort of a shock...which he kept them out of the photo section. Nothing wrong with whites or blacks or asians...just bigots.....got to hate bigots of any color.

And love Madison and if I ever desired moving to a smaller city is is in my top 3!

I plan on checking out Madison (and Wisconsin) for the first time next week on my way back from Chicago. That is if the weather is decent. The pics I've seen on SSP are largely responsible for me possibly making this detour on my way back to Norman. Beautiful pics!

I see someone is insecure about race. Diversity! YAY!

Thank you, Racist Protector Man, your job is very well appreciated.

Thanks for the shots of Madison. I never pass up an oppurtunity to run out there. Let's pray for the proposed high speed rail link to Milwaukee.
