Yeah, 70 Rainey has done a really good job maintaining the plants hanging from their balcony and along the pool deck (which has more than most). Hopefully other buildings follow suit, or at least hire the same landscape architect (whomever it was).

That said, more greenery is always good for this building. It will seem a bit odd if it's just this one slice of one corner though.

KVUE did a story about it just now, and they repeated the "late 2022" start. Based on the usual time frame for site plan approval for large projects, it's on track to be approved by late summer.

Why am I just seeing this now?

It’s beautiful, has a distinct crown, and best of all it’s teal/green instead of blue. I’ll take it!

Fencing is up around the lot next to Michelada's. I assume it's prep for moving the house on the lot, or maybe one of the trees.

I think the trees are first.

Yeah couldn't remember what's been permitted at this point, but it had to be one of the two. Michelada's for its part is still going strong.

LOL. Well this made my Friday even better. That crown, height and green glass I'd totally buy a condo there. Wonder when we'll get more renders

Yes. I believe it is (or will be) in the space where St. Bernard Sports used to be (3rd & Guadalupe).

Updated design with new renderings. Crown has been removed and outdoor amenity spaces added.
