Friday 7/26

Hey, there...been a while. I flew a project on Friday, but managed a handful of Vista shots between orbits of my target project

Damn -- all spectacular shots but that last one should be framed. Excellent showcase of Chicago supertalls.

Wow, that last photo is amazing, as it shows 6 of Chicago's 7 supertalls so close together. Nick, I wonder if you are the first person to have captured them from this vantage point.

Nick when it comes to capturing shots of Vista and the growing density of downtown Chicago you are simply the best.

Nick... that last shot (all the shots were great of course), but that last shot... I'm gobsmacked! Might be my new favorite angle

Looking at Nick's amazing aerial shots compared to the initial drawings from SOM's first Master Plan for Lakeshore East (the watercolors), it's clear we ended up with is far superior to what was originally envisioned.

One day I'll learn to be more succinct with my posts... that day will be when I'm not taking pictures of Vista

Not sure what to think, I guess it didn't turn out terrible but it's not a particularly beautiful supertall either, kinda wish other proposals became reality and not this one.
