Central Green - This is taken on Richter St close to Rowcliff Avenue

Nice office/commercial development on Tutt Street in Pandosy. This is turning into a really nice block, I will get some more pictures in the coming weeks.

The Shore moving along nicely, taken from Gyro Beach Park

The ELLA podium appears to be built now and they have the first residential floor poured. Took this photo today.

That's some exciting progress in Kelowna! Finally most of those vacant lots are densifying existing urban cores. I cant wait to see the city's refreshed and grown skyline in coming years. Something needs to happen behind the Superstore as well. Lots of prime land out there.

That is incredibly ugly and such a strange design. Looks like it would be behind the Chevron between Pandosy and Ellis?

I don’t see how those balconies can project out that far. I doubt it’s possible to cantilever out that much with reinforced concrete. This is someone’s idea, not an actual proposal

The renderings are not very detailed. Maybe it would look better in reality. But I do agree it’s a strange looking development. The city will likely want major amendments made.

Nice to see large balconies for a condo building for a change, BUT having said that, the building is super fugly!

Only 15 units in that 8 story condo building, no way that is getting approved in that form.

It is horrible and odd, but it's not quite on Pandosy, setback a little bit on that weird Boyce Crescent that only serves that property behind Chevron, so it'll be quite hidden. I don't know if there's a market for oversized to grossly oversized 1 and 2 bedroom units in that area however.

It's hard to believe that building isn't an April Fool's prank, but it isn't, in fact it's the first thing that shows up at the Calgary architecture firm XC Architecture's website: http://xcarchitecture.wixsite.com/xcarchitecture

If these are the kind of proposals Kelowna gets, I think I finally understand why downtown is all low rises

Two more downtown tower proposals on the Brooklyn site. 13 story office and 33 story residental! Exciting proposal for sure. I walked by Brooklyn last night and there seemed to be some machinery on site, I'll get some pictures at the weekend.

Nice, more high rise proposals for downtown!
At 3 floors shorter than the taller One Water Street tower, I wonder how tall this new tower will be. Awesome to see a 13 story office tower downtown too!

The article also says that construction should begin in March for Brooklyn. That’s awesome.

Wow. This growth spurt that Kelowna is going through is quite something.

The base of the office tower in that rendering looks very promising.
