^ As far as I know, yes - that's correct - it's been dropped from the tower's name. However, I think the hotel might still use "Wanda"...............someone else may correct me though on one or both........?

glad to get rid of it; "wanda" is not an attractive word in the english language.

a good number of new pictures of vista. Can't tell if some of the lobby/public space photos are just pictures from other Wanda hotels or actual renderings.

I'm curious... they claim they want to start this in May of 2016 but I would think they would want to complete Gems II first? Does anybody know what is going on with Gems II and if both Vista and Gems could being under construction at the same time?

Not necessarily. GemsII can be wedged in there anytime.

BTW: Vista Tower is on the November plan commission.

No more Wanda, thank God. That was an awful name for a sexy tower. But unfortunately this tower is already engrained in my head as Wanda Vista...

The presentation Ald. Reilly shared still refers to this building overall as "Wanda Vista Tower." I think the residential portion is called "Vista Residences" and the hotel side is "Wanda Vista" (the renderings even show this spelled out in a sign above the entrance - both in English and Chinese).

I personally don't care about the thread name, but there's no way that "Wanda" won't be prominently attached to this tower somehow.
