Nice pictures. Thanks for posting them, Ayreonaut. I haven't been in Moosomin in years. Reminds me of Nanton, AB.

It sure looks cold - in fact it looks like there's more snow on the ground than even up north in Grande Prairie, where I'm currently at (most streets bare and lots of bare ground showing in areas fully exposed to the sun)!
You should do a downtown Grande Prairie photo-tour!

Yeah Nanton's neat, and a little closer to home too.

I'd like a Grande Prairie thread.

I can't believe it, I think this thread has more replies than my NYC one from November, I excpected it to die a quick death, thanks guys.

March 14

I went for a tour in the last hour, found a few more things.

Some old building on the next street over from main street.

Attached to above building. I was going to get the front but it was ugly as sin.

Top floor of a building on main street, which is in the first set.

Of course there's an old church, I just had to find it.

What old church is complete without a creepy old tree?

And I think that's it, I don't think there's any more buildings in the town.

@ Ayreonaut - nice pics of even more buildings. And nicer weather, too. But what's the deal with that "ugly as sin" building?! It just looks utterly weird-ass, even if it's the back of a building!

I actually did that last fall. It's still sitting somewhere deep within the Alberta subforum.

I plan to do another GP thread sometimes later this year.

That's not even the back of the building, it's on a corner, so it's the side, definately weird though.

I remember that GP thread, vaguely.

It looks like they added that stone wall after the fact... so I have to ask it.

What are they trying to hide?

I can show you if you really want, because they sure as hell didn't hide the front.
