Just out of curiosity...why would Rosario be chosen as the site of Argentina's tallest building? as opposed to Buenos Aires or Cordoba?

Because Rosario is one of the richest cities in Latin America, even more than Buenos Aires.
Anyway, in Buenos Aires, there is a 173 m tower, and we expect to have some projects over 200 metres soon.

I had no idea that Rosario was so rich. Where does/did all that wealth come from?

Rosario has an important port. 70% of exports leave from Rosario.
In adittion, the high prices of commodities make Rosario progress.
In 2006, Rosario was chosen by UN the best governed city in LA.
