What does that mean? You can't form an opinion on what you see or you haven't seen renderings of the completed project?

Haha you're right. I remember them redesigning it, removing that weird crown they had, but no idea what the final design is now.

^ I forgot how it would look like in the very end too. I was just grateful it broke ground and is changing the skyline lol

Oh wow, thanks for the reminder pic haha. I keep remembering an older version which I think had a dark facade.

For a tower that is going to end up in the city's top ten tallest, it really doesn't stand out from the pack. Just from being squished in the middle of Rainey I feel like this will be our least significant 500-footer yet. Crazy to think that any tower of this height could be almost forgettable in Austin.

Loving the tall filler (that's not offensive). Excited to see this one complete...hopefully it gets cute lighting.

and thank you, Urbannizer for the reminder pic--we all seemed to need it lol.

Just not loving all those hanging/exposed balconies. Very windy and not a feeling of safety and enclosure that high up. No sense of privacy either. Not a good choice IMHO.

What would you have done alternatively that would still give all of the units access to a balcony and fresh air?

I’m indifferent on the topic but Just one easy example would be to Look at the building behind it in the render
Recessed balconies

I prefer recessed balconies, BUT that means the balcony is occupying square footage which would otherwise be a part of your living room or bedroom.
