Not a development per se, but I traveled on Vanowen between the airport and Sepulveda today and there is a solid amount of infill going on there. Kinda interesting.

Via Avanti Complex in Sherman Oaks

Via Avanti Complex adjacent to Sherman Oaks Galleria. Taking shape noticeably on Sepulveda Blvd and 101 freeway . This is going to be a great addition to the area.

Anyone know what’s going on with the Bank of Hope tower on Vermont?

Is it undergoing residential conversion? Has worked stalled?

The development in Sherman Oaks looks huge in person lol. Def will inject some activity into that mall nearby.

Hmm... I wonder if that's a Jamison Properties office to resi conversion.

Whatever it is, definitely seems like it's stalled. I just don't know what it is (assuming its a resi conversion)

Progress photos of LACMA.

I'm in the minority but I think it's looking good and it finally brings the whole campus together.

I like the design and the whole notion of crossing Wilshire. I just wish it had another story above it, at least on each end of the project. Add 50% to 100% more space would solve a lot of criticisms.

It's going to look great. I think the window frames are really that little touch that make it all look classier.

Agreed, I think most people think the design is good, the criticism I've seen is the reduction in gallery space. I do wish they could have added 50%-100% more space like you mention.

It will still be a large, very cool museum when it opens one day. Also there is room for expansion where Levitated Mass sits now. I might be the minority here, but I think that thing is so overrated and is a terrible use of space. I hope they get rid of it one day and build a nice expansion.
