is Twin Cities a designated name for Minn and St.Paul? I think so.

because i personally rarely thought about Dallas & Ft.Worth, or SF & Oakland when see the Twin citites name

Minneapolis - St Paul are the original Twin Cities in the US. The metro has been called that since the late 19th century.
