The appearance of the individual tiles/siding (IMO) is far superior to slabs of pre-cast but I wonder whether the tile is as robust as pre-cast. Does anyone know the tile material? Is it ceramic or composite or other? And how is it affixed? Over all i'd say this building is a great addition to this neighbourhood.

The massing is fine, if unremarkable. With better cladding this could be a perfectly decent background building.
I've walked past a few times and think that the tile cladding is better in person. The weird paneling at the corners is just as bad in person as it is in photographs though.

I don't know what the cladding is for sure, but I suspect that it is porcelain. If you go back in time a little bit in this thread, you can see what looks to be exterior insulation, then two layers of metal girts to which the tiles seem to be fixed. Not sure how they actually attach to the metal, but there don't appear to be any visible fasteners in the finished product.

The sidewalk has been reopened. The occupancy is advertised for this month so I am going to list this as 'Completed'.

From pics, I have to agree with your assessment. Haven't seen it in person, though.

Oh well, still a because we need more housing. It's good to see another one ready for people to live in it.

It does really look like indoor finishing materials used on building exteriors. Countertop, wood flooring, tiles. Not sure what I think of the tiles.

The tiles and wood finish is pretty similar to Flynn Flats.

The tiles must have been on sale for $1.50/ea at the nearby Rona!

Isn't it a bit odd to have a curb cut at the front entrance? Seems a bit hazardous...
