seroiusly, though, i think we are all getting caught by every developer calling their devlopment "mixed-use". umm, ya there is a grocery store and a row of offices. that reallyisn't any better than two seperate developments that put offices next to a grocery store.
what we need to be looking for is
VMU, vertical mixed use. people living among the shops and offices, not just near them (through a gated neighborhood).
